How to bake the best Olive oil cake
Olive oil is healthier than other sources of fat because of its high content of monounsaturated fat (mainly oleic acid) and polyphenols. This is a moist, delicious and healthy cake, made with Olive oil.
Things You’ll Need:
•1/2 cup olive oil
•1 1/4 cup flour
•1 cup sugar
•2 tsp dark brown sugar
•1 tsp vanilla
•2 tsp baking powder
•1/2 cup water
•Mixing Bowl and Mixer
•Place all ingredients in the bowl and mix for 5 minutes.
•Pour into a greased and sugared 8 inch cake pan and bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven for 25-30 minutes. Let cool in pan for 5 minutes on a wire rack. Remove from pan and continue cooling.
•Delicious on it’s own or with a fresh fruit compote.
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease and sugar an 8 inch cake pan.
2Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and use mixer to mix for 5 minutes.
3Pour into the sugared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
4Cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes then remove from pan and continue cooling. Serve with fresh fruit compote.
