7 Fruit to Avoid Diabetes

Fruit to Avoid Diabetes : As Diabetics account for more than 10 percent of the country’s population, lifestyle is a major cause of increased diabetes.

Is the fruit forbidden for diabetics?

Fruit is not forbidden for diabetics

There is a lot of sugar in some fruits, which can be dangerous for diabetics.

If you are a diabetic person, you might think that you are not allowed to eat fruit.

This hypothesis is not right, because diabetics can do a part of their healthy eating habits.

Fruits contain carbohydrates

Given that the fruit is a carbohydrate, it affects blood glucose and you can not take unlimited amounts of fruit.

And testing blood glucose before and after eating the fruit can help you determine which fruit is best for you.

This article introduces harmful fruits for diabetics which have higher glycemic index. Avoid eating more than 2 to 3 fruits per day, equivalent to 15 grams of carbohydrates.

Grapes

  • One small grape contains one gram of carbohydrate, which means that 15 grapes are considered one serving of fruit.
  • To avoid overeating, it’s best to either count them and put them into a small bowl, or avoid temptation and choose to eat this fruit such as berries.

Cherries

  • Most people don’t stop eating cherries at just a handful, which is why eating cherries will usually result in blood sugar spikes

Similar to grapes, one cherry contains one gram of carbohydrate.

Pineapple

  • Fresh pineapple is delicious and sweet, especially when it’s very ripe, which makes it a high glycemic index food.
  • Depending on how you slice it, the thickness and width can change the amount of carbohydrates and make it easy to overeat too.

Mango

Mango contains fiber and other nutrients required by the body.

But it also contains natural sugars, which is to some extent more sugar than other fruits.

One Mango has about 30 grams of carbohydrates and about 26 grams of sugar.

Banana

You may have heard that bananas are too sweet .

An average banana contains 14 grams of sugar.

Considering that bananas are harmful to diabetics, it is best to eat half the banana at breakfast.

Dried Fruit

  • Calories and carbohydrates in dried fruits are four to five times more than fresh fruits (with a weight equal to).
  • If the amount of carbohydrates found in them is not properly counted, they can increase blood glucose levels.
  • Try to choose dry fruits without adding sugar or adding too much sugar.

Fruit Juice

  • Getting Juices Concentrates Fruit.
  • One cup of orange juice contains 30 grams of carbohydrates, 30 grams of sugar and no fiber.
  • When using body water, you do not have to do much to dissolve the sugar in the water.
  • It quickly metabolizes and increases blood sugar within minutes.
