What foods cause hypertension? (Part 2)

Hypertension: In the previous article, we looked at foods that cause high blood pressure. In this article, we will continue to discuss this topic.

Hypertension: Full fat milk

This kind of milk contains a lot of saturated fat. This type of fat increases the level of bad cholesterol that can block blood vessels, increase blood pressure and cause cardiovascular disease.

Sauerkraut is a useful vegetable that has low calorie content and can be used in addition to meat dishes. On the other hand, it should be noted that about half a cup of Sauerkraut contains more than 460 milligrams of sodium. This amount of sodium is a serious risk to patients with high blood pressure.

Fried potatoes have about 19 grams of fat and 460 mg of sodium. Therefore, it is not suitable for people who are prone to hypertension.

This food has a lot of fat. Three bacon pieces contain about 4.5 grams of fat and 270 milligrams of salt. If you are eager to eat this food, try to use the less fatty ones like turkey bacon.

Donuts are very sweet and delicious. But if you want to avoid high blood pressure, you have to give up donuts. Each donut contains at least 300 calories and contains simple carbohydrates (which quickly become sugar) and saturated fats. This kind of foods will immediately increase your blood pressure.

Foods that contain high levels of calories and sugar cause weight gain, obesity and directly cause high blood pressure.
