Milia is more common on the face and especially around the eyes.
Milia may be due to excessive skin oil, hormonal disorders and etc.
As mentioned, Milia is not harm the body. It is only considered for beauty reasons. That’s why many people with Milia are looking for a way to treat it.
Milia does not require special treatment for infants and usually disappears spontaneously within weeks after birth.
Natural treatment
One of the principles of keeping your skin healthy and beautiful is to keep it clean. So daily washing with proper solutions and cleansing the skin can help you.
Apple vinegar
Applying apple vinegar can shrink the pores of the face and reduce Milia.
Sugar and lemon
Sugar is commonly used in natural scrubs to peel the skin. Using lemon juice with sugar helps to make the skin brighter. Facial massage with this scrub is very effective to treat Milia. To get a better answer, apply this scrub two to three times a day and massage your skin with circular motions.
Cinnamon
The anti-inflammatory properties of cinnamon make it an integral part of acne masks.
Tea Tree Extract
The extract has antibacterial properties and is also used in acne creams. This extract can also be used to treat Milia.
Green Tea and Aloe Vera
They have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and it can be effective in treating skin problems such as Milia.
Honey
Honey is one of the best moisturizers of the skin, and its can soften the skin and help to reduce Milia.
Some medical treatments of Milia
If natural remedies do not work for you. You may need to take medication to resolve your problem. Talk to your doctor first and make sure of the method you want to use.
Your doctor may prescribe one of the following treatments for your skin:
- Use a sterile needle to drain a cyst that should be done by a doctor.
- Chemical peeling products like Retinoids and in various forms.
- Laser therapy
- Surgery for large cysts.
